Named after Queen Elizabeth II of England to commemorate her visit to it in 1954, Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most visited national park. It’s situated in western Uganda approximately 400 km by road Southwest of Kampala, Uganda’s capital and largest city. The park is a habitat to over 95 mammal species and 500 bird species.
